Dallas, Texas has become one of my favorite cities. Not only do some of my best friends live there, but there is so much diversity wherever you look. Dallas seamlessly combines city and nature, with a great example of this being Klyde Warren Park. In the heart of downtown, Klyde Warren Park does a great job of combining all elements into one space. The park is lined with restaurants and surrounded by buildings. Inside the park, there is a green space for lawn games, lots of tables for eating, a dog park, and depending on the season, food trucks and other vendors. While many people flock to this park for all of its amenities, I thought it would be a great location for Kasey and Fara’s Dallas couple’s session.
Within the perimeters of the Klyde Warren, I was able to capture these two with a multitude of backgrounds ranging from vine covered walls, yellow-leafed trees, high rises, and branches wrapped with string lights. Photoshoot locations with many background options are great for shoots, because they allow you to get a lot of variety without having to walk all over town. This saves you time and energy which allows for more images to be captured. Within an hour of shooting, I had roughly 400 images with over 7 different backgrounds.
Being able to photograph the love between Kasey and Fara in such a beautiful venue was a joy for me. These two were so happy to be around each other which shows in the images. Being able to capture genuine giggles and smiles makes for much better images than forced poses.
While I know that their love would have shined in any setting, being able to capture it in Klyde Warren Park made for a magical afternoon, and a set of adorable images. To see more couple’s & engagement sessions, visit my engagement gallery.
