ART Hotel Denver Wedding – Denver Photographer – Robin & Pete

Robin & Pete inquired about a year before their ART Hotel Denver wedding. I remember reading their inquiry and resonating with their love of Denver. I crossed my fingers that we would be a good fit. After some emails back and forth, we met for dinner at their venue, the ART Hotel in downtown Denver. Since that dinner, we have met multiple times including a few double dates in various Denver restaurants. When it came time for their wedding, I felt like I was photographing a close friend’s special day, instead of just a client.

Their wedding showcased their love for the city, with their ceremony on the rooftop terrace of the Museum Residences and their reception at the Fire Terrace at the ART Hotel. The ART Hotel is located in the center of downtown Denver, named for its proximity to the Denver Art Museum next door. The hotel is filled with art pieces throughout, including modern art videos in the elevators. The Fire Terrace is an expansive outdoor space just off the hotel restaurant that overlooks Broadway complete with fairy lights, outdoor couches and multiple fire pits.

A few of my favorite moments from this modern wedding include; Robin emotional first look with her dad, Robin & Pete’s first look complete with passing bicyclists, Robin and Pete’s laughter during their first dance and seeing the guests dancing with ice cream cones.

As a lover of all concrete jungles, especially Denver, I had an absolute blast getting to document and create amongst the buildings, lights and cityscape. While Colorado is full of so many beautiful natural settings, I believe the city can be just as beautiful.

I feel honored to have been a part of Robin & Pete’s phenomenal ART Hotel Denver wedding and to have two new friends to enjoy Denver with.
